Eva Kaili is a senior European policymaker, global technology strategist, and thought leader at the intersection of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, sustainability, and geopolitics.

She served as a Member of the European Parliament from 2014 to 2024, where she held multiple leadership roles, including Vice President for Foresight, Innovation, CSR & ESG, with a regional focus spanning Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Arab Peninsula. Her parliamentary work covered key committees on Industry, Technology, Energy, Research, Economy, Budget, and Employment, shaping policy at the highest levels of the European Union.

Eva played a central role in advancing Europe’s digital future as Vice Chair of the AI Digital Intergroup and a member of the Special Committee on Artificial Intelligence and Pegasus. She acted as rapporteur on landmark initiatives including Blockchain Regulation, Digital Platforms, Crowdfunding, the EU Strategic Investments Fund, and Taxation within the S&D framework.

She also served as Chair of STOA (Science and Technology Options Assessment) and led initiatives through the Center for AI (C4AI), bridging science, technology, and policy. Her international leadership includes chairing NATO Parliamentary Assembly initiatives, engagement across Africa and the Arab Peninsula, and serving on the Council of Extended Intelligence of IEEE and MIT Media Lab.

Eva is a member of the World Economic Forum’s EU Digital Leaders, the OECD Blockchain & AI Advisory Board, and currently serves as Chair of the World Future Foundation, where she focuses on long-term governance, ethical innovation, and global resilience.
