ACTAI Maui 2025: Where Waves Meet Purpose 🌊
In the heart of Maui, surrounded by ocean mist and volcanic peaks, the ACTAI Global community gathered once again, founders, athletes, innovators, and dreamers drawn together by a shared mission to leave people and places better than we found them.
What began as a kite trip and an idea to connect high-performing individuals who love the ocean, innovation, and impact became a week of transformation. Days started with sunrises over the water, kites in the wind, and conversations that flowed as naturally as the tides. The ocean wasn’t just our playground, it was our classroom, our inspiration, and our cause.
This year’s ACTAI Maui carried deeper meaning. Together, we strengthened our partnership with the Maui Nui Marine Resource Council (MNMRC) a local organization doing incredible work protecting the reefs and restoring Maui’s fragile marine ecosystems. Through Help.fun and Pledge, a giving platform born from the ACTAI community, we created $REEFS, a coin dedicated to ocean restoration. This innovation bridged the digital and natural worlds transforming generosity into measurable impact for the island’s reefs and the generations who depend on them. $REEFS successfully made more than 20k in donations for MNMRC.
Our days were filled with movement and meaning kiting and foiling across the coastline, diving into thought-provoking sessions on sustainability, entrepreneurship, and purpose. Evenings brought us together under Maui’s velvet sky, where laughter mingled with the sound of waves and new ideas took shape over shared meals.
None of this would have been possible without the incredible partners who brought their energy and support to the island. A heartfelt mahalo to Dave Li, Founder of Deckbird.ai, whose sponsorship of our beachside dinner sparked new connections and collaborations; and to Mohammad Hasham of CohnReznick, who fueled our minds with morning talks over coffee and pastries. Together with our community of supporters, these contributions helped shape an experience that went beyond inspiration into lasting impact.
